Athletes' Performance seamlessly integrates the finest performance methods, specialists and facilities to efficiently and ethically enhance an athlete's performance. Winning with integrity is paramount at Athletes' Performance, and each athlete is required to sign a pledge that he or she will not use banned substances to enhance performance. Elite athletes of all sports come to Athletes' Performance to ethically improve their athletic performance and build the foundation for a more productive career. By individually tailoring training programs for each athlete, based on his or her specific sport, goals and injury history, the athlete is positioned to optimally train to perform at the highest level, and also decrease injury potential, allowing the athlete to increase his or her career longevity. Athletes' Performance specialists focus on educating the athlete to ensure that he or she understands what it takes to be an elite performer in sport and is able to effectively implement these performance strategies when they return to their team or club, or are away from the Athletes' Performance training facilities. Founded in 1999 by internationally recognized coach Mark Verstegen, Athletes' Performance is an original tenant of The Home Depot Center, opening its doors in 2003. With its best-in-class fields, track and other facilities, The Home Depot Center provides an ideal venue for athletes to receive the world-class training that Athletes' Performance delivers. Operating out of a 7,400 square foot training facility, Athletes' Performance works closely with many of The Home Depot Center anchor tenants, including the Los Angeles Galaxy, Chivas USA and US Soccer, in addition to elite athletes who chose live or train in southern California. In addition to soccer and individual performance training, Athletes' Performance conducts parts of its NFL Combine Preparation and NBA Draft Preparation business out of its The Home Depot Center facility. Athletes' Performance brings its proven methodology to consumers through the brand Core Performance.
