Soccer Stadium
The 27,000-seat state-of-the-art soccer stadium is the home field for Major Leagues Soccer's Club Deportivo Chivas USA and the 2005 MLS Cup and U.S. Open Champions Los Angeles Galaxy. The soccer stadium has hosted major national and international events, including the 2003 MLS All-Star Game, the MLS Cup game (2003, 2004) and the 2003 FIFA Women's World Cup championship game. The stadium has hosted numerous international friendlies, featuring teams including Real Madrid, Club America, Chivas Guadalajara, the Mexican National Team and several others. The soccer stadium has also hosted the International Rugby Board (iRB) USA Sevens Tournament.
In addition to soccer and rugby matches, the soccer stadium hosts major concert tours. Past performances include the Dave Mathews Band, Carlos Santana, Kenny Chesney, The Curiosa Festival featuring The Cure and Green Day.
The Home Depot Center is also the soccer training headquarters for the United States Soccer Federation National Teams and the David Beckham Academy, and offers practice fields for training purposes.
